'Decolonist Meditation I'

Katie West, Decolonist Meditation I, HD Video, 7 minutes, 2016. Installation View.

“Decolonist is a space where breathing out the traumas of colonisation and breathing in a decolonised state of mind can give life to philosophy and action that might dominate a new decolonised Australian reality. How can we undo the damage done by colonialism? And, what could it mean for us as individuals?”

'Decolonist Meditation I' by Katie West is on view in the Pierre Kemp Lab until the end of February.
